TV One introduces “R&B Divas” (formerly “Ladies of R&B”), a reality series that tells the current, real-life story of five multi-talented, beautiful R&B stars – Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt. Having all seen the highs and lows of the music business, these ladies know what it’s like to command the spotlight… then see it dim. Now, armed with important life lessons, they’re stronger and wiser. However, this time, they’re coming together to make a difference. Resilient and dynamic, these R&B Divas not only continue to build their own lives and careers, but also pay their good fortune forward, helping others along the way. The series offers a personal glimpse into their private worlds as they lean on each other and offer candid revelations about their efforts to deal with major life transitions and challenges such as divorce, parenting issues, drugs, alcohol, physical abuse and more.

I took this photo August 22nd North of Hunter Kansas, near the Blue Hills. It is so dry, the little pond on the right is a mud pit now. The only thing blue in the Blue Hills right now is hungry cattle looking for grass.

After last nights storm (4-15-11) We are glade to say we still have a roof over our head and everyone is safe and unharmed. The windstorm that came through yesterday blew over a nearly 55 year old tree. my grand father planted the tree right after purchasing the home in 58' so 51 years later it now lays side ways in the yard. As we had just sat down to eat dinner last night a loud crashing noise came rattling through the house. we ean out and saw the wrath of the storm on our great shade tree with many childhood memories. At least we can say the family is safe!
