Oh no it is come to this now. I mean they have reduced the checking by enforcing the rules and they have diluted the degree of intensity of each and every game. i had no clue it could get any worse but I guess that is bettmans next move. I am already having a hard time adjusting to this new NHL. I am old school and I guess I have no choice but to adjust. Thank God for past NHL archieved games. I find myself looking back at some of them and remembering what the true definition of a hockey player was. Oh w

he had a hot start and will never ever do it again. no I dont like renney's idea of constantly switching payers in and out of games. I say trade Voros and fritche but please dont get another backman. heck even take a draft pick. free up that cap space to get room to resign, Zherdev, Callahan, Dubinski, Dawes, Sjostrom, Valliquette, and Betts. (they are gonna take some money to do so.
We're still on track for migration to the new software in the next few days. Nothing new to report other than that this board will be down for several hours when that change comes. As soon as I know the exact timing, I'll get that information up here.
I want to thank everybody who has e-mailed me with requests for new screen names. Most of you have been really great and understanding about the problems we had here. Most of you are eager to return to the board once we get the be

What the hell does the guy's turtleneck have to do with his play or his whereabouts?
Spit, obviously no one who responded is capable of understanding the meaning of the post but I tried to research a few things and there doesn't seem to ANY news about this guy after 2007 other than he still owns a home in Ottawa and has been seen in New York as recent as January 10th of this year.

I hear you loud and clear on the content filter problem. The old software was limited in its flexibility as far as what it could filter -- although I have put in a request to get that one filtering problem fixed even before we switch over.
The new board software allows us to have much, much more control over filters, and I already know that reasonable posters won't have problems with it.
Again, my apologies for the content-filtering problems over the past few months. Going forward, it w
Shanahan turned down more lucrative offers from the left coast, didn't want to move the family out of the metro area. Understandable. So what does that sage of GM sages Lou Lamoriello do? He allows Shanny to keep up his conditioning with a promise that the Devils will take a serious look at him at the All-Star break.
Now New Jersey gets a seasoned, battle tested veteran leader and goal scorer for the stretch run. Shanny will be fresh for the second half and will have the Devils among team leaders o
We're getting closer to game time for the Rangers-Ducks matchup here at MSG. Should be another good one and will undoubtedly be the last game night while we have the current message board.
We're still on track for a new board in the next few days, before the Rangers return for their Jan. 27 game against Carolina. The new board will be a big step up and we will work to make it the best board that newyorkrangers.com has evcer had.
Not too sure if ANYONE has found their "niche" with the team but I can agree, Dawes HAS shown improvement in his game since coming back into the lineup. Still feel he has trade value for his age and talents but nevertheless could improve even more with the right linemates. I personally would trade more "disappointing" players before thinking about Dawes going anywhere.
of us this can't happen we can't let them have any momentum this suck lets go guys get it together were in 5th in the eastern conference dones't that mean anything to these players we get bukped a couple of more spots and bye bye playoffs lets play with some agression please god
