Brock Sheahan is way better than Loya. Hell, he spent a minute fighting off a 5-on-3 without a stick against Trenton and got the job done.
Loya always looked to hit people instead of getting them off the puck or blocking passing lanes. The play against Dayton where he got trucked by one of their defensemen leading to a goal is a prime example of what an asset Cliff Loya was to the team.
Cashman, Reid, Loya and Ganzak..... They are the players we have seen the best def. out of this year. I must not be the only one to think Loya is decent as he was one of our few defensive players who have been called up.

I can't say I'm totally surprised by what Curtis was able to do this weekend, I know he's capable of playing that well on a given night, and lucky for us he strung two very good games together. He avoided giving up the soft goals he's been known to let in, controlled his rebounds a little better and was good with his glove, which he has struggled with.

Darling played two fantastic games in a row this weekend, and hopefully it was enough for some of you to start getting behind him. Fridays game should have been a shut-out if our def. could have done better clearing the rebounds. I have felt that he has done a pretty decent job all year, and honestly he has even had a few amazing games. You you think cliff loya is your man just look at the beatings he has already taken. If you would have seen the dayton game on sunday ask cuda how many times he was run over and no one really did anything about it. Oh ya miller and he took 2 min for it and was not smart enough to take someone with him. Where has the nailer enforcer Cedrick Bernier gone he has been gone since the break and the team upper mang has been tight lipped on the subject.
