This is the song I wrote for the Lincoln Spotlight Contest. I hope people are able to relate to the lyrics and be inspired by them. I also would like to give props to whoever produced the track because it is blazing and beautiful.
The themes of this contest made me want to be a participant?living
your dream, daring, hoping, and reaching higher. We all need some
inspiration in our lives, whether it's getting through a tough day, or
trying to achieve your goals. I am so blessed to have people around
me that always encourage me to strive for my dreams, even when I get
weary and discouraged at times. I wanted to write words of inspiration
that could help uplift someone else if they ever started feeling the
way I have felt at times. I think we all have the ability to keep
going and achieve our best, and it's important for us as people to
boost and support each other. If this song and video can do that,
then I have done my job. I am truly grateful for this opportunity.
