This is a thunderstorm approaching 3 miles northwest of Smith Center, Kansas on Father's Day, June 16, 2013. The storm had high wind, some hail, and dumped about 2 inches of rain.
Was nickle sized but melted to dime before I could some for a picture.
Taken between storms on 5-31-13. Once wind, rain and golfball sized hail ended the sky turned pink.

Handful of large hail in the yard. Near Lake Afton
This was taken from our backyard. It left a sizeable divet in the yard. We found a handful this size. Taken near Lake Afton.
Roughly quarter sized hail fell for 5-10 minutes.
