What!!! its made in china out of polyester ? Do you have this in my size made in the USA of organic cotton ? No well why not ???? I'll even pay more if you tell me the person that made it was able to feed thier family on the living wage they were paid. I buy second hand alot then I know atleast the garment has been washed a few times getting rid of some of the chemicals like fireretard they sprayed it with, to make it cheaper to get thru customs. All that stuff is breathed in thru the skin . Hello !!!your largest organ. I eat mostly organic but when it comes time to think about what is being worn people are not as aware as they are about things they put in thier mouth. In the past fabric was sold by weight they used alot of very poluting things to dye it with . If you know vintage clothes the blacks were always more expense than the whites because they weighted more. Weight caused by dyes set with weird things like metals, black has alot of lead. How well do the garments hold up ? well the blacks are mostly dry rotted and the whites can still be worn . Why ? because of the dyes. During WWII the Germans found a link between cancer and the chemicals used in the fabric created for the uniforms . WOW Ok so here's what I did a few years ago . I went thru my wardode and disposed (some recycled) of all the 50/50 and other fibers that I wasn't sure about. Then I bought only used and natural after that. Sure you say thats easy for me I make alot of my own clothes. Well hey you can do it one shirt at a time. Then atleasts buy organic starting now. Tell me how you are doing. While researching online for information on how I, or anyone else, can live a simple affordable and greener life. I found that what was needed was a central website for good ideas, and information and ways to engage employers, candidates, and companies. What I found was very little more than a few companies openly promoting over priced products, advertisements, and sometimes job board postings.
