This is me after returning from attending the "Authur Awards," a Northeastern theater awards group (like a local Ocsar award.) Had fun!! Met interesting new people!
All that we consider today as a source of nutrition is really just a secondary source of nourishment. Integrated Nutrition is key to optimum health and wellbeing. One aspect of this is something that we call Primary Food.
Primary Food feeds us, but does not come on a plate. Some examples of primary foods that feed our souls and our hunger for living are Love, hugs, kisses, warmth, massage, meditation, fun, freedom, self-expression, tears, hot baths, nature, laughter, downtime, close friends, and fun. Secondary foods are everything that put into your mouth labelled food.
The more primary food we receive, the less we will depend on secondary foods for complete nourishment. Much of the foods we eat today contain harmful chemicals, which trick the mind creating artificial feelings to fill the void of true primary food. More damage is being done by artificial chemicalized junk foods, fried foods containing harmful chemicals such as Trans-fats, and snacks containing refined white sugar.
What is it that you enjoy most? Which of those activities could you do, say once a week to begin with? Maybe its something you did as a child/teenager/single person/ or something you always dreamt of doing. Develope a taste for that thing and visualize yourself doing that very thing. Then rest and go do it!! Begin Again today!!
