Thank You
The Rock Harbor Charters Service, Snow’s, Frank’s Citgo, and myself amongst others, would like to thank all those who generously helped out the Lower Cape Outreach Council in making Christmas a happy time for families in this area. These hard economic times are making it tough on many folks here on the Cape. Since we are a tourist based economy it is hard to find work during the winter. Summer is on its way but still some time off.
As in that movie “Scrooged” it is possible to keep the feeling of Christmas year round. For those not affected by these difficult times remember, the Lower Cape Outreach Council assist those who need it year round. If you can see your way to continue to help it would be appreciated. Thank you again for your help this season and have a very good New Year.
Our dog, Bubba, was trying out his Christmas outfit which he will greet Santa with.
He felt a little out of place when Santa showed up in years past.

Christmas on Cape Cod...
As a member of the Rock Harbor Charter Service I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Times might be a little
tough right now, but they will get better. Those of us who either have been on the Cape for a long time or were raised here have seen slow times before. We weathered them then and we will see it through this time too. Because of this we’ve learned how to enjoy the spirit of the season as well as its fruits. I have no doubt that the spirit of Christmas in alive and well here on the Cape.
Unfortunately, there are those who need a little help to get through this unusual situation. The help all of us have gotten some time during our lives. The Lower Cape Outreach Council has programs which are in place to do just this. They collect toys and such for the children, warm clothes for the whole family, and nonperishable food stuffs to help these folks out. Money is also needed to pay heating bills and such. But, this is Christmas, a special time. If you can pull it off, drop off a present for a child, maybe an extra warm coat or winter clothing, food
is always a needed commodity, but most of all leave behind the spirit of giving of yourself, the spirit that tells them there is a future and it is as bright as that famous star over that small town of Bethaham.
Thank You
