I too was fascinated by those Magic Eye pictures. Although my first reaction was quite the opposite. In fact I was downright sceptical, and believed this was another marketing scam. Especially since I stared for minutes on end at the first picture, unable to make anything come to life.
But after a little coaching by the shop owner, I stared at infinity, and slowly the image emerged. Now, I cannot resist them.
I guess this scepticism is the natural reaction of all thinking people to something new.
I know that whenever I go just that little bit too fast in explaining the New World I trigger a strong emotional effect and yet sometimes I just do - the slot it too tight, the break was too long and I just have to squeeze in the explanation. I know the problem and I walk into it any way. Today was such a day. I guess if I'm honest I find it very hard to believe that in late 2007 there are actually still people out there who don't get it? i know there are but I don't believe it. Luckily I was rescued by my story about the first time I saw a magic eye picture which you can find at http://pentacle.co.uk/Downloads/TheQuestForTheNewWorld.pdf
