    When I saw the coverage this morning of the debate that happened yesterday I was glad to hear the opponent mention the unconstitutionality of the issue and angered by the proponent who said "it's no more unconstitutional than being photograghed when entering a bank". That is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard regarding this particular violation of personal liberty. When you enter a bank or any other place of business and are being monitored by cameras you are on private property and those pics or videos are not going to be used to send out citations, if you commit a violation against that place of business those images will be used as evidence of that violation in court. When a person is stopped by police and issued a ticket, that ticket is a summons...you've been served and must appear in a court of law. If you get your picture taken running a light or speeding and get the ticket in the mail you have not been served and are not required to respond...unless you waive your right to service (fine print) by calling and/or viewing that violation on the web. The constitution guarantees citizens the right to due process and protection from malicious prosecution. What I find the most troubling aspect about this whole issue is the failure of the media to even mention the legallity of getting a ticket in the mail...it's always about the safety of sudden slowdowns, blindness of the flashes and so on. It's almost as if they (the media) have been instructed not to go there; you can talk about the safety and revenue but don't talk about the rights of the people. I would like to hear a report on the evening local broadcast specifically addressing the constitutionallity of getting a ticket in the mail and how the people responsible for this atrocity can and have gotten away with trampling the rights of the people for the prospect of increased revenue, not safety .... revenue.

• Mick Foley Defends 10 Year Old

    Will Phillips is a courageous 10 year old boy in Arkansas (this country needs more boys like him) who believes in liberty and justice for all.  Will, however, knows there really is not liberty and justice for all and refuses to stand up in his class for the Pledge of Allegiance.  Well, he certainly is a very intelligent student!  He said Gays and Lesbians are not free to marry so he will not say the Pledge of Allegiance until they can. 

    The famous wrestler, Mick Foley, has come to the rescue.  Last night on "The Daily Show," he said that Will is a great American.  Mick Foley warned any kids if they should harrass him, hurt him, or call him any names that he and some of his friends will come to that school and cause a world of pain.  He told the teachers and the students that the eyes of Mick Foley are upon you.  I know this was a comical sketch but I think Mick Foley is sincere with his praise for Will as a great American.

    In my opinion, Will Phillips is a 21st century Patrick Henry.

    A pretty little girl named Suzy was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home. Next to her was a basket containing a number tiny creatures; in her hand was a sign announcing FREE KITTENS.

    Suddenly a line of big black cars pulled up beside her. Out of the lead car stepped a tall, grinning man.

    "Hi there, little girl, I'm President Obama. What do you have in the basket?" he asked.

    "Kittens." little Suzy said.

    How old are they? asked Obama.

    Suzy replied, "They're so young, their eyes aren't even open yet."

    "And what kind of kittens are they?"

    "Democrats," answered Suzy with a smile.

    Obama was delighted. As soon as he returned to his car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl and the kittens.

    Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two men agreed that the president should return the next day, and, in front of the assembled media, have the girl talk about her discerning kittens.

    So the next day, Suzy was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of "FREE KITTENS" when another motorcade pulled up, this time followed by vans from ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN (no FOX NEWS).

    Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then Obama got out of his limo and walked over to little Suzy...

    "Hello, again," he said, "I'd love it if you would tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens you're giving away."

    "Yes sir," Suzy said. "They're Republicans."

    Taken by surprise, the president stammered, "But... but.... yesterday, you told me they were DEMOCRATS."

    Little Suzy smiled and said, "I know. But today, they have their eyes open."

    The Government Accounting Office revealed measurement flaws in the current system the Obama administration has been using to count the number of jobs saved or created by the economic stimulus program.

    The GAO says the numbers are incorrect and it provides scenarios where both understating and overstating the figures may have occurred. Here is a sampling of the most glaring flaws noted in the GAO report:

    25-percent of the more than 100,000 reports have not yet been vetted by any federal agency.

    It found that 3,978 recipients reported jobs created or saved without actually receiving any Recovery Act funds.

     

                        It also says that 9,247 reports showed the receipt of money but no jobs were created or saved.

     

    Some of the problems stem from the fact that recipients do the reporting and there aren’t sufficient resources to vet the reports.

    Also, keep in mind that part-time jobs are counted, but they are worked into the full-time model, meaning that a full-time equivalent job counted as saved or created might have been two part-time jobs.

    Meanwhile the employment to population stands at 58.5%, a level not seen since the late seventies/ early eighties

    Treasury secretary Geithner before the Senate today stated that he wants to end the TARP program quickly. But he continues on later to say that the biggest mistake made in past financial crisis has been for the Government to stop backing up the financial institutions too quickly. He went on to say the commercial real estate problem was going to be around for quite some time to come (and with it the TALF).

    In an Oct. 28 report that has attracted the attention of several government agencies, Richard Parkus, head of commercial real estate debt research at Deutsche Bank Securities predicted that "many hundreds" of banks will fail due to their exposure to commercial real estate.

    Business Week noted:

    “Lenders are learning that many commercial property owners can't pay back loans — or qualify for new ones. Delinquency rates on construction loans have already soared to 16% and could go much higher, notes Parkus.

    And yet to this point, he adds, the banks have taken very little in charge-offs or reserves for commercial real estate losses.

    "Less than 1% of commercial real estate loans have been written off. Our expectation is that losses will exceed 8%," Parkus told IBD.

    And despite the 16% delinquency rate, banks have written off just 4% to 7% of construction loans, he estimates.

    " It looks like most of the reckoning lies ahead," he said.”

    On Friday, billionaire Wilbur Ross lent his voice to those predicting a "huge crash in commercial real estate," Bloomberg reported. George Soros has predicted a "bloodletting" due to the CMBS problems.

    The MIT Real Estate Center said that commercial property prices has dropped almost 42% over the past 2 years. As a result of that drop, about fifty-five percent the $1.4 trillion commercial mortgages that will mature in the next five years are underwater. The delinquency rate for commercial mortgages climbed to 5% in October. A year ago the delinquency rate was just 0.77%. About half of all commercial mortgages sit on the balance sheets of smaller banks. So the massive number of bank failures this year is significantly attributable to losses from commercial real estate. Late last month, one of the largest commercial real estate finance companies in the world file for bankruptcy.

    AND YET, health care is Obama’s stated no.1 priority,

    Sen. Lindsey Graham blasted Holder saying “We’re making bad history here…The big problem I have is that you’re criminalizing the war…I think you’ve made a fundamental mistake here. Holder delivered his rebuttal point-by-point to his critics who say Holder is treating the detainees with a “pre-9/11 mentality.” Holder declared, “I know we are at war” and said he knew his decision would be controversial and a “tough call.” He then states that the suspects can face justice either in military court or in civilian court.

     

    Holder then defended the record saying Khalid Sheikh Mohammed would not create problems over classified information that critics say will give him the platform he wants to “spew his hateful ideology” in a New York civilian court or in a military commission.

     

    Holder stated went ask what if the suspects are acquitted; Holder then replied, “Failure is not an option. These cases have to be won. I don’t expect that we will have a contrary result.”

     

    Obama stated in one of his TV interviews during his trip to Asia that getting a Civilian trial or military trial would not find it “offensive at all when he’s convicted and when the death penalty is applied to him.” Obama then quickly added he was by no means he was prejudging the outcome of the trial. “That’s the job of the prosecutors, the judge and the jury.”

     

    You have just read the statement of Holder saying, “Failure is not an option.” You have read President Obama prejudging “when convicted and when the death penalty is applied to him.” Therefore, why it is that Holder and Obama want this trial to take place in New York City. I tell why it is to put Mohammed on a platform to the world so the Democrats can punish Bush, Cheney and the CIA for provoking a war with Islam at a cost of $75 plus million to the city of New York. The defendants have confessed to war crimes, so hang them and then feed them to the pigs.

    I had to quit since school was coming to a close and I needed to study for my exams it also didn’t help that the owner began to get suspicious of me and wasn’t able to find my complete documents. I got saddened over the fact that school was coming to a close but relived that I was able to show that I stuck in all those four years and I was going to finally get my high school diploma and prove my family and friends that I was able to do it unlike some of them that dropped out and got GEDS (not that that is bad) or that it didn’t take me 5 years like some friends I had (which is not bad either). As I continued to ponder on the fact that I was going to graduate, I realized that I wasn’t able to do anything with it like get a job or go to college with the various scholarships that I got since they required a social security number or they were out of state. I wondered what, was the purpose of those four years; I have wasted them except on how to write an essay, add some formulas etc. I got angry at the fact that I won’t be able to go and make a difference in the world like become a firefighter or cure cancer like many of my colleagues that were going to graduate with me. It felt like I had a handicap of some sort which prohibits me from doing things with my life. 

    After graduation I was called by various community colleges which got me even more depressed and angrier, I hung up on all of them not wanting to hear them explain how great there school was and that I was never going to go there etc….. I went job hunting to see if there were any business that were willing to hire like the man at the fast food store but there were none, I guess no one wanted to stock up on illegal’s any time soon. I remember a particular moment when I was at an office place were there various other Hispanics like me but had no idea how to speak English, so I thought if they can work here I guess I can also. When we turned in our applications the woman asked for their ids and they pulled out Arizona State Identification cards. I said to myself you got to be kidding me how are they going to answer the phone all they know is Spanish, I felt hurt as though I was nobody, as if I was an outcast with a horrible disease like leprosy.

    A few weeks later on the news were many Hispanics both legal and illegal that were marching for American rights and liberties. I know I am going to have many people that read this from my own race hate me and call me names but when you don’t want to conform to America and adapt its policies yet at the same time want American rights is plain ludicrous. You can’t march with Mexican flags and be Mexican this and that Americans should learn Spanish and Mexicans don’t have to learn English because we are going to take over the USA as certain Hispanic say. At my school many students liked the marches, ditched to go joined the marches while they had no understanding of why they are doing it or what is the purpose of them. Many of the supporters were American born yet they denied their citizenship to call themselves Mexican while I on the other hand wanted to do the opposite.

    I want to make this crystal clear that I REGRET doing this yet I had to do what I needed to survive. During high school I decided to find a job but realized I didn’t have any documents for a job, so I went about to get a Mica as it is known in Spanish translated Fake ID and Fake Social. I didn’t like the idea of stealing some ones identity so I used my own name and made up a fake social security number with my name on it. When it came time to use it I wasn’t able to take up the courage and use it, my thoughts instantly were I can’t do this if I am hurting someone’s life up by doing this and they have no idea that it’s going on. There was a fast food place not that far from me were a friend worked and he said that he was able to get me a job and pay under the table, so I took it, since I had no other options at the time. My first day there was awkward since I was working illegally in there while everyone else was legal yet none were able to distinguished the difference as I worked there for close to a year.

    After completing the program successfully I was allowed to go to high school at Camelback High and I started my 11^th grade there. I went to class noticing how everyone didn’t care when the pledge of allegiance was recited in third period and took it as a punishment. During history class we would be discussing about what the brave soldiers fought for and they would rather be texting their friends on who they just had sex with or what they just finished drinking at the party the night before. When we discussed the bill of rights more than 80% of the students thought it was a band or had no idea what the first amendment was or even what it was.

    I met a Sergeant from the Marine Corp. while going to school my junior year. He asked if I would join and I hesitated in the beginning, till my friend Nate called and said that I should join the Corp. I told him about the Sergeant at school and he realized it was the same guy that recruited him also. That night I thought to myself, I don’t deserve the title of an American citizen but I can sure earn it by serving and fighting for this country, plus I liked the Marines better than any other military service the US offers. I took a practice ASVAB test which I passed and off we went to the recruiting station to start the paperwork. When we arrived he asked me for my social security number I responded by saying I don’t have it, he looked at me and asked if I was a here legally which I answered sadly no. “This is a bunch of crap!! You wouldn’t believe how many people I meet that are willing to fight for the rights that aren’t even granted to you illegals but cant because of their status, while there are many eligible men that are too scared to fight for the rights that they so cherish.” He said as his fist struck the computer and banged on the table, he looked at me and said “I am sorry but you can’t join, I wish there was a way I can help.” My hopes and dreams were even more crushed then they were before.

• Avoid the Black Friday Madness

    Most Walmart stores are going to be open 24 hours on Black Friday because the retail chain does not want to chance an unfortunate fatality happening again that occurred last year involving one of their employees being trampled to death by a stampeding crowd.

    I think most people should stay at home and avoid the Black Friday madness by shopping with QVC or one of the other home shopping networks.  You not only avoid the mall mob but you will be avoiding the long waits at the post office since the home shopping networks will ship any item to the address of your choice (as long as the address is in the continental United States).

    Take it easy and relax.

• Holiday suicides

    The holidays are getting close. I feel bad for all that can’t afford them. This year will be a record for suicide during the holidays for sure. Thanks to the economy. If we could blame a fact, instead of a political party for the economy. There is one that stands out. It was only a matter of time, until sending all our jobs to China, would affect the American majority. Free trade is great for the ones who made thousands off of it already. But for many of us, it is the unemployment line. Now with the buying force diminished, even the rich will feel the wrath of their mistakes. Happy holidays to all, we may not have as much, but at least we have our country. At least for these holidays.  It could be worse for sure.

• Who's Life Is It Anyway?

    What has happen here.  I am so angry with the way things are handled here in the state of Phoenix.  I have lived here for 45 years.  You can call me paranoid or delirious, take your pick. But for the Phoenix police dept to call someone inattentive and distracted while on the sidewalk or crosswalk is ridiculous.   I just lost my six month old grandson Roman Mata (RoRo) two months ago to a SUV. The sad part is I have come close to experiencing what my grandson had experienced. I work at St Joe's Hospital. Yes, I walk to work. I love to walk.  It is not far from where I reside so that is my choosing, WALKING. I cross a busy street in the morning and evening. 3 lanes of traffic one way going north in the evening, and 3 lanes going south in the morning. What irritates me is that when I have the right away:in the crosswalk, sign says walk. There are vehicles turning left onto 7th ave going south.  I have had a few  close calls, while in the crosswalk approaching the middle of the intersection of traffic going North and South. These drivers see me there is no doubt. Here is just a couple of examples:  One was with Physical Contact my hand actually touch the man's vehicle hood. Shaken I continued to walk to the landing. But enough is enough! Today I did the same as I always do every morning.  I waited until the light changed and the word walk appeared. I also watched for the women making the left hand turn coming onto 7th ave.  That women saw me I met her eye and she still approached me as if she were blind.  The cars were honking and I was screaming at her. She look at me and continued on her way. So my theory is: People are in such a hurry they do not care who's life they may  change of destroy.  We have had one tragic accident, If Roman's life did not make a point, What Will my life?  Some serious changes need to be done to protect those that walk around in this city as pedestrians.

This study, which showed that more men approach women who wear less, was conducted in a nightclub overseas. Wow. What a great service Fox 10 provides to women!!! Alexis should have said "Single women, if you want a horny drunk guy who is probably married to try to use you for sex after picking you up in a bar, then show more skin."

    When your pastor of over 20 years, "God-damned America" and said that 9/11 was "America's chickens coming home to roost" and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could be. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor Wright because it was politically expedient to do so.

    When you announced that you would transform America, we wondered why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth. Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, "if not for America and the people who built her, you wouldn't be sitting in the White House now." Prior to your election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not even a very remarkable one at that.
    YES, "We noticed." 
    
    All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority of them are people, who like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection for this country and her traditions.
    YES, "We noticed."
    
    You are 9 months into your term, and every morning millions of Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.
    YES, "We noticed."
    
    We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled "un-American", "racist", and "mob" to mention a few names. We wonder how we are supposed to let you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right to speak  out.
    YES, "We noticed."
    
    On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans. 
     And YES, "We noticed." 
    
    There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could help unite this nation. In less than eleven months you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.
    YES, "We noticed."
    
    September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You propose to make 9/11 a "National Service Day". While we know that you don't share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is. A DISGRACE!

    You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.
    YES, "We noticed."
    
    We have noticed all these things, and we will deal with you. When we Americans come together again, and those that voted for you wake up, it will be to remove you from office.
