      Infrared sauna is a sauna powered by the infrared rays. Infrared rays are rays with a high wavelength, greater than the normal red light’s. This leads to a number of benefits including therapeutic, health and beauty advantages.

       

      These saunas come in different models, including small portable ones that you can keep in a tiny corner of a room, till large ones that will occupy a room by itself. And there are intermediate sizes. The small portable sauna is cheap and nice for one person, so cheap compared to its benefits that it is gradually becoming almost a household item in many parts of the USA.   • Lakewood Ranch Real Estate Bro

      Over the course of the last year a new style of real estate has emerged allowing both buyers and sellers of Lakewood Ranch real estate to save thousands of dollars. As a real estate agent Tanya Waxler noticed an obvious problem with market. Sellers simply could not afford to lower their prices any more without taking a huge loss on their home. The buying agent would still get their usual 3%, but she would cut her share of the commission in half. This can be very appealing to a seller as it enables him to lower the price of his house without actually losing any more money.

      It wasn't long though that Tanya realized that for many people saving 1.5% simply wasn't enough. So she approached her broker again. This time she asked if should could offer her clients a one-time flat fee to list their home in MLS. Again, her broker said yes. This time, however, a business idea was born.

      After focusing her business on flat fee listings and making a name for herself in the Lakewood Ranch real estate market, Tanya decided it was time to go off on her own and properly named her new brokerage uKeepCommission Real Estate.

      While uKeepCommission Real Estate was originally only serving Sarasota and Manatee Counties, with the addition of the new Mid-Florida Regional MLS system, Tanya and uKeepCommision Real Estate can now list houses anywhere from Orlando to Tampa to Port Charlotte.

      Maybe You're like me ...

      24 years in the insurance business and I feel like I've been chasing a Unicorn for all these years. The Ultimate Insurance Marketing System ... does it really exist? Can it really exist? If it did exist, what would it be like? What would it actually do? I mean if you're going to stick the word "Ultimate" in front of something, it had better be pretty darn fantastic ... Right?

      Not meaning to provide more questions than answers - so I'll stop asking them and relate a mental exercise I recently went through to get these answers. If I could design the Ultimate Insurance Marketing System, what would I have it do. Here are a few of the things that my mind came up with - as a P&C Broker focused on Commercial Insurance. These are some of the "attributes" I desired.

      • Affordability - a key component in this tightening economy
      • Ease if Use - used a Full Featured CRM App lately? I wasn't looking for CRM Software as a new career
      • Adaptable - it's got to be multi-function and flexible
      • Web Based/Hosted - I'm tired of Remote Access and Database management

      Following are several of the Functions I wanted it to be able to perform - Tasks I wanted my Ultimate Insurance Marketing System to perform for me :

      • Client Nurturing
      • Prospecting
      • Lead Warming / X-Date Follow Up
      • Automated Campaigns
      • Cross Selling Campaigns
      • Testimonial Request Letters
      • Claims Follow Up
      • Thank You / Appreciation to New & Renewal Clients
      • Referral Marketing / Referral Contests

      I had a few more but, I don't want to appear greedy ...besides I can't begin to image the cost and complexity a system that effectively accomplished all this would cost. I had better get my wish list in check with my budget.

       

      So why was I going through such a mental exercise in the first place? Well, I must admit, I wasn't seeing the results I wanted after putting in a significant amount of time and effort into a certain "nameless" CRM app that gave me the SHAFT and not the GoldMine I was after.

      I was seeking more Referrals ... and from the reading I was doing, I needed to be building Better, Stronger Personal Relationships with my clients, prospects and referral partners. Sending out some letters in A10 Window Envelopes with Metered Stamps just wasn't getting the deal done - for me.

      This is getting long, so I'll Cut to the Chase. I believe I have found my Unicorn of Insurance Marketing. A system I will confidently preface with the label Ultimate.

      In fact I've made a little 5 minute video for you - as many have had a hard time envisioning such a system from mere text. Seeing is believing. Watch it and see how in 5 short minutes, I demonstrate the following attributes of an Ultimate Marketing System.

      The system that works, is the one you will use - daily. I no longer chase the insurance marketing unicorn. I have finally, after all these years corralled it and named it Ultimate.

      It has been a busy first quarter for Taye Drums’ Artist Relations team.  We started the New Year by bringing on board Erick “EvL_e” Tatuaca who is going on the road with the DJ pioneer, Adam Freeland who decided he needs a live band with him.  Evl_e has been paying his dues in the Texas rock scene.  Also, Jazz/Calypso master and Rutgers educated drummer Dion Parson who as a native of the US Virgin Islands, was the subject of an commercial/documentary.  (story to follow).  This quarter also brings Ben Cordonero from contemporary Christian recording act, Salvador.  Get ready to see them at one of their many festivals this spring and summer.

       

      Along with Dion Parson, Taye Drums is proud to announce a partnership with New Jersey educators, Sam Ruttenberg and Yisorel Plaut.  Give them a call and continue or start your education in becoming a better drummer and musician.

      So, I never knew either one of these guys; however, Mitch Mitchell and Louie Bellson were two people who influenced countless generations of drummers and musicians.

      Well, on February 14th, we found out that Louie unexpectedly passed from this walk and is now joinging Buddy, Elvin, Bonzo and all the other greats.

      From Louie's website:

      "Referred to by Duke Ellington as “not only the world’s greatest drummer...(but also) the world’s greatest musician!”, Louie Bellson has expressed himself on drums since age three. At 15, he pioneered the double bass drum set-up. At 17, he triumphed over 40,000 drummers to win the Gene Krupa drumming contest.

      He has performed on more than 200 albums with such greats as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, Woody Herman, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, Dizzy Gillespie, Louie Armstrong, Lionel Hampton, James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Joe Williams, Wayne Newton and Bellson’s late wife Pearl Bailey.

      Composer and author, he has written more than 1,000 compositions and more than a dozen books on drums and percussion. He received the prestigious American Jazz Masters Award from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1994. Also, he is a six-time Grammy nominee."

      I never delved into Louie's music as much as I should have; however, I was merely inspired by his existence.  He was already in his twilight years when I started playing my Ludwig education pack snare back in 1981.  Louie was hocking the Remo brand and their "Acousticon" shells along with the Roto Toms.  No one could complain about the heads, but the drums....well, if Louie plays them, they must be worth looking at.  (I probably would have considered them had anyone in Mississippi carried them.) 

      Anyway, while at a prior company, my office mate would bring in these great big band CD's and tracks on his MP3 player and when asked, "that's Louie Bellson." (like I'm an idiot, right?) Louie's technique was amazing and I began to get further inspired.  

      From the stories of others, Louie was the most congenial of all the legends and we here at Taye are very sad that we never had the opportunity to shake his hand.

      I know this second one is a little late, but I felt the need to take this opportunity to talk about Mitch Mitchell who passed this past November 12th, 2008, mere days following a very sentimental tour.

      Oringal Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer, Mitch Mitchell (mine, the author's main influences), was something of an anomoly.  His style which obviously used his jazz background and a desire to stretch what was an early style of new rock.  When you listened to his playing ("Wait Until Tomorrow" is playing as I type), one can truly hear how he surrounded Jimi's guitar with his playing.  This is why Buddy Miles was not the permanent drummer with the Band of Gypsy's. (in my opinion)

      When asked about how Jimi and Mitch clicked, long time engineer, Eddie Kramer told Modern Drummer  "There were other drummers who had auditioned for the job, and certainly there were others who were capable.  But I don't think any of them fit the bill in the true sense that Mitch did.  I think this was a lucky break for both  Jimi and Mitch.  The found each other's ideas to be compatible.  Mitch was able to sense where Jimi was going and keep up with him and challenge him."

      I feel as though I could get wordy, but I cannot express the sadness I feel when I hear Jimi on the radio and remember picking up my sticks so long ago and popping in Smash Hits to the cassette deck.

      Hi,

       

      I'm David, I play in a band called ConCoCtion here in Baton Rouge, LA. I've been playing drums for about 13 years now.

       

      I played on an CP's (Comsic Percussion-for those that didn't know) 5 piece for about 11 years. and it eventually had enough. So after polishing it up nice and selling it back for about $200, i purchased my first ever drumset (the CP, my parents got me for $400) a Taye Go-Kit back in September of 2006.

       

      I've been using it ever since I started ConCoCtion too, so all recordings of ConCoCtion have been used with my Taye (which you can hear at myspace.com/theconcoction)

       

      This past weekend (January 16-18), we recorded our debut/self tilted album...which is still in the Rough mixing stages.

      the tracks online right now are very rough and were recorded months before we went to the studio.

      hope you enjoy and check back for updates about the album.

      i probably won't post that much, except to say thank you to Taye.
