ARMA II Arrowhead will be a standalone expansion pack to ARMA II
Three years after the conflict in Chernarus, portrayed in the original
ARMA II, a new flashpoint in the Green Sea region heats up and
coalition forces led by the US Army are sent to Takistan to quickly
restore peace and prevent further civilian casualties.
Set into the new, visually attractive environment of hilly central
Asia, Operation Arrowhead will offer realistic combat simulation
experience in a modern day setting with unprecedented freedom of
movement, actions and tactics. Players will enlist into various roles
within the US Army, from basic infantrymen, through special
operatives, to pilots and tank crew in this new installment in the
award winning line up of military simulators for PC from Bohemia
Interactive.
ARMA II is a military simulator for the solider in everyone. If you like fighting on a modern day battle field this game is for you. All I can say is “Let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor.”
I have been playing the beta test for Dawn of War II on Steam. I have the game preordered from Amazon so I get the special edition chapter of space marines at launch. I have been specializing in the TechMarine Raven Guard Chapter. I can beat a random hard computer in a one on one match now. I have started branching out and loading bigger six player maps one on one versus the computer and it is getting more harry. It seems the computer is better at taking the map than I am. However I am better at taking the points and holding them. It ends up the computer gets more resources and I have a bigger battle holding the points for the win. I guess Dawn of War II will ship soon and we will get play the campaign. I am looking forward to that. I gave up trying to change my Windows Live account name. If you want to play online lookup CrackedPenguin and I will be playing.
I play games on the 360 and on the PC. I was just playing a game of Dawn of War II Beta and about to win when I was logged out of the system. What could have happened? My wife turned on the Xbox 360 that is what happened. Apparently if I am logged in it has to log me out here. That is ultra lame. I don't want my 360 and PC gaming to be crippled by usernames. I don’t want my 360 and my PC to interact with each other like this.
I suppose I will have to get a new account for the PC and remake my friends list to prevent Microsoft from hosing my game in the future.
