These guys have been coming by for several months now. They see me feeding my outside cats and wanted in on some taka, so I started feeding them. They don't seem to mind the cats and vice/versa.
More than 75 Coastal Bend area singers made a once-in-a-lifetime trip to New York City to sing as part of a festival chorus at Lincoln Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 2010.
Dennis Richardson, DMC Director of Choral Activities, organized the trip and numerous fundraising activities to help offset travel expenses for members of three choral ensembles: DMC Concert Choir, the Master Chorus and the Children's Chorus.
Performance footage was shot at a rehearsal in April, 2009 featuring the Corpus Christi Chamber Orchestra at Del Mar College and the final rehearsal before departure in January, 2010.

My team from Calallen High School has joined the HOSA PSA competitive event competition. The reason we chose to do the hurricane preparedness plan as our topic for the Public Service Announcement is because we live in an area where it is likely to have hurricanes. We believe that people who live in coastal areas should have at least somewhat of an idea on their evacuation routes and where they should get supplies. Even though we haven’t had one is Corpus Christi for many years, it’s never too late to be prepared.

11/12/09-4pm-Bishop,Tx: A Central Freight truck clipped some low-lying phone lines. Snapped 5 poles like twigs. As of 6:30pm Verizon has yet to show up. My house had its phones lines yanked from my house, so I have no phone at the time of this posting.
This is the 2nd time in 5days Verizon has had phone lines and poles snapped within a one-block radius of me!

The Del Mar College community gathered recently to dedicate the installation of a sculpture by Danville Chadbourne to a longtime arts champion in the Coastal Bend community, the late Barbara McDowell. The Chadbourne sculpture addition to the Fine Arts Center Sculpture Garden was made possible by a gift from the McDowell estate to the DMC Art Department.
