Bryan Clark's Gossip, Inspiration & Slander Creates Cosmic Ripple
Double-Disc Set Available Today On Rainfeather Records
Nashville, TN (March 31, 2009) -- Singer/songwriter Bryan Clark's newest CD - GOSSIP, INSPIRATION & SLANDER- is creating a cosmic ripple, spurring a tour, producing a flurry of media attention, and inspiring Flatpicking Guitar magazine to offer Clark a guest column in their May issue. The double-disc set is available today on Rainfeather Records.
First Dates of the GOSSIP, INSPIRATION and SLANDER Tour include:
May 2 Backyard Jam @ The Island, Clarksville
May 15 Strawberry Music Festival, Clarksville
May 22 Norm's River Roadhouse, Nashville
June 9 Listening Room, Nashville
Early Media Comments:
“Bryan Clark’s stellar playing and singing combine influences from numerous musical aspects. As a soloist, he’s equally soulful and ambitious, able to execute complex progressions or edgy chord flurries with the same care and dexterity he brings to sweet, soothing ballads. Clark’s new double CD Gossip, Inspiration and Slander has both an electric and acoustic side, and has him displaying his fluency in bluegrass flatpicking, jazz and blues tunes, and his proficiency operating as either a leader or a rhythm contributor.” Ron Wynn / NASHVILLE CITY PAPER
"Gossip, Inspiration, and Slander is a testament to Bryan’s abilities as a picker, singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer. The boy can do it all! The CD is more Newgrass than Bill Monroe and really more Americana than bluegrass, but the songwriting and vocals are very strong and the performance turned in by all of the band members is phenomenal. Be prepared to add a new name to your list of favorite flatpickers” - Dan Miller / FLATPICKING GUITAR Magazine
The new CD led to a feature in the March/April issue of Flatpicking Guitar magazine, additional coverage (both current and upcoming) in Vintage Guitar, Country Weekly, The Alternate Root, Americana Music Times and more. His musical compositions can be heard on ESPN, America’s Next Top Model and The History Channel, and eight live performance videos are posted at www.bryanclarkmusic.com. Bryan Clark is endorsed by Collings Guitars, John Pearse Strings, Elliot Capos, Pro Pick Fingerpick and Red Bear Flatpicks.

Hello! I am Jerry Mac. If you are a talented country, bluegrass, or country flavored gospel artist, we can definitely get you maximum radio promotion throughout Planet Earth. We have developed the most effective and least expensive way to get your music promoted to radio.
In case you are not aware of it, I want to let you know that it is now possible for you to promote yourself to radio if you have the time and knowledge to do so, and we invite you to do it if you think that you can get better results for yourself than we can get for you.
I, personally, have spent over 50 years promoting entertainers. Believe me when I tell you that no one on Planet Earth knows how to promote an entertainer better than I do (NO BRAG JUST FACT). Promote your own music or hire someone else to promote it if that is what you choose to do, and it will not hurt my feelings at all, but pay close attention to what we will do for you before you make up your mind.
Now that you have taken the time to write, record and make a great record, you must put together a viable “plan of action” with respect to obtaining airplay if you hope to have any reasonable chance of success. One of the most misunderstood facts of marketing a record is how and why you must promote it to radio. Sending your release to radio, and actually getting airplay are two separate things. The most common misunderstanding of artists releasing music to radio is that they believe that if you send it to radio, and if everyone starts playing it, then it's a hit. And if they don’t start playing it, then it’s no good. This is not how radio works.
We use DPKs (Digital promo Kits) to get your music to radio world wide.

Nashville, TN (January 26, 2009) -- Up-and-coming singer/songwriter Megan Munroe entices country programmers with her debut single, "Moonshine," a dramatically-different radio record available now via CDX Vol. 466.
The track opens with a distinctive drum roll executed by Mike Kennedy (George Strait's Ace In The Hole Band) and R.P. Harrell's (Sammy Kershaw, Roy Clark) haunting B-3, and dips and whirls with Tim Crouch's violin (George Jones, Dolly Parton) to instantly engage. Munroe's "listen-up-boy" vocals rip, roar and nuance the listener into joining a wild night-ride that's filled with emotions as ever-changing as the open road.
"Moonshine" pays homage to Munroe's country upbringing at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in rural Sultan, Washington. "We took our four-wheelin' and horseback riding seriously," she says with a laugh. "This song is closer to my roots than any of the other tracks on my upcoming CD."
Produced by Doug Deforest for Diamond Music Group, ONE MORE BROKEN STRING is due out February 10. The CD is Megan's first nationally-released effort, and the disc's original tales of saints and sinners range from fiery up-tempos to heartwrenching ballads. Her songs are tinged with the Delta blues, edged with sweet bluegrass notes and resonate with the twang of traditional country. Munroe's move to Nashville in 2007 followed three years in Los Angeles (2000-2003), where she enjoyed a successful acting career, appearing in WB's Everwood and films Lost on the B side, Mixing Karma and The Standard V.15. Look for features on Megan in Country Weekly, and AllAboutCountry.com next month.

OVER 600 PERFORMERS will gather at the American oasis of old-time traditional country, bluegrass, and folk music festival in Iowa this year. Many celebrities will be present during the seven-day event, as the National Traditional Country Music Association inducts nominations into America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame. Also, the Rural Roots Music Commission will be making their annual CD's of the Year awards (all CD submissions must be send to RRMC, P O Box 492, Anita, Iowa, 50020), all in the traditional vein. Going for 34 years, this event has garnered incredible awards and national media attention, as well as the BBC from England. There are ten sound stages running from 10am to midnight every day (some indoors some outside) with the main staging area in an air conditioned building. 300 RV camping sites with electric hook ups are available on site, with free water and dumping stations nearby. A complete tipi village where the first "USA Native American Flute Championships" will be held. It includes not only playing the flute but also building it. A special workshop building provides professional musicians all seven days, teaching everything from beginning fiddle to advanced Dobro. An old log cabin is home to the softer side of country music, including folk music. Old style dances six of the seven nights take place in the dance hall. The "intimate concert series" features programs by celebrities using all acoustic instruments. Rustic artis and crafts, hand-made, is a 34-year tradition. Showcases for aspiring artists looking for gigs is also available. Some of the talent buyers have included Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, even Crackerbarrel Restaurants who do their own festival of old-time acoustic music in Iowa. Great food on the grounds includes Culver's Burgers, plus Tailgater's char-broiled steaks, Longhorn's fish, chicken, tacos, and all kinds of food in between. Contests in over 30 categories still prevail, judged by professionals in the business, it is still a very good way to find out where an artist stands in relation to what the judges think. Performers come from around the world, in 2008 there were 36 performers just from the country of New Zealand. It's a one of a kind event, devoted entirely to the musical heritage of America.
