Here we perform to Kirwani, Dance of Envy, and Yeh Ishq Hai. We all are students that attend MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), but still keep up fusion dance as our hobby. Dance is our passion. We hope you enjoy our most recent performance :D
This is a video of me performing at the Ms. India Georgia Pageant where I won the best talent portion. I mixed all of the dancing styles that I have learned: ballet, jazz, acrobatics, Bharat Natyam and Kathak into one short piece so that the judges could see my versatility and ability to adapt to choreography. This dance was done 2 summers ago, and I know I have improved since then. Hope you enjoy the dance and vote 5 bubbles for me!

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WATCH THIS VIDEO. I AM EXTREMELY EXCITED TO BE APART OF THIS COMPETITION. HOWEVER, PLEASE USE CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS ONLY ABOUT THE DANCING AND HOW TO IMPROVE MYSELF. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE RUDE OR DEHUMANIZING COMMENTS. THIS IS A DANCE FROM A SHOW I DIRECTED AND CHOREOGRAPHED. I WORKED REALLY HARD TO TEACH OVER 50 DANCERS THE DANCE AND CULTURE OF INDIA AND, ALL WHILE NOT BEING INDIAN! SORRY FOR THE QUALITY OF THIS VIDEO, I WANTED TO BE APART OF THE COMPETITION SO BAD AND DID NOT NKWO THE FIRST THING ABOUT UPLOADING VIDEOS FROM A DVD SO I JUST RECORDED THIS DANCE OFF MY CAMERA...WHAT CAN I SAY... I WAS DESPERATE.:)
This is a bollywood dance presented in Colombia , South America by Anandita basu and her students of south america.she is the only indian dancer from india in whole latin america.this is one of her coreography.this was her 10th dance in the show . she had to do managing at the same time of the concert , its just a live dance by her without any practice , ofcourse her students practiced.
"thank you SAAVN for inviting me and for ur courage and believe that i can win."
When I first heard Punjabi do this song it inspired to let my inter spirit move me! I now listen and dance to all of Bollywood's music!!!!! I LOVE BOLLYWOOD!!!
Here's a dance we put together in a few days just for this competition! Granted, we didn't have much time, but it was only because lately our schedules have been really hard to coordinate! Anyways, we hope our effort shows through and we would REALLY appreciate it if you could vote for us and send us to BOLLYWOOD!!! :)
This medley has 3 songs: Chhaliya, Chel Chabeela, and Aaja Nachle. The songs were chosen because they each cover a different style--from flirty, to cute and playful, to energetic and fun. I choreographed the first two songs, but for Aaja Nachle I figured if it's good enough for Madhuri - it's more than good enough for me! I actually find it more of a challenge to do something she's done than to come up with something I know I can do! :) I have dreamt of going to Bollywood for as long as I can recall. It would be a chance to really perform--not just dance but use the emotion of the character to portray the story behind the dance. As you'll see I'm big on expression! I hope you enjoy the dance, and please vote for me!! Background: I am currently a Managing Director at Dhoonya Dance School and Performance Company. Check us out at www.dhoonyadance.com
Please if you like this dance, vote for me.
you can see my atcuation in tv:http://mitele.telecinco.es/programas/que-vales/24554.shtml
or a special actuation in international contest:http://www.tu.tv/videos/bollywood-re-dola
"Barso Re" is just one of my favorite songs, and I sincerely wish it were part of the contest!
(Note from Saavn: It is now! Your video is eligible to win)
PLEASE ONLY RATE THE FIRST PERSON IN BLUE [that's me]. DON'T BASE YOUR RATING ON THE SECOND PERSON! (She's not taking part in the contest.)
NOTE: First 4 or 5 seconds of audio is jumpy.
Thank you for taking time to view my performance video.
Please understand that this is a Bollywood Fusion dance. It's not full Bollywood and it's not full bellydance either.
I apologize that alot of subtle moves are 'lost' since I'm wearing black with a black backdrop and you can't really see my facial expressions either.
I'm not expecting to win...I'm more in this competition for the feedback of my performance skills. If you post negative, please explain 'why.' I cannot learn from my mistakes and become a better dancer if you don't explain where I am wrong.
I hope you enjoy it, none the less.
This is a video that my friends Momtaz and Matt made of them dancing in London. As an American who's filmed and edited loads of kids and teens dancing to Bollywood tracks for a dance school, I thought the video they produced showed they honestly enjoy and love the genre way more than your average dance student does.
