    Greetings Family and Friends!
    
    A little over a year ago, I'd sent a letter regarding the celebration of my company's 25th Anniversary. Of course, the time is here, and we are now in the preparation stages of this celebration.

    The official celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 1st, 3pm at Stuyvesant Heights Christian Church, 69 MacDonough Street, Brooklyn, NY. This will be a semi-formal banquet, Tickets will be $20.00.
    On this day, we want to honor 25 groups and/or individuals who have made a difference in making NSP what it is today. As of today, we have a total of 57 individuals, and we've grouped most of them based on their involvement in NSP to make up our "25". Among the honorees, we will recognize the original Much Finesse (rap group from 1986 and the 13 dancers who followed during that same year). We will also to honor the original Friends and Strangers Jazz Band (1996). Stuyvesant Heights of course is the most fitting place to have the event, being that this is where the jazz band made their debut, and is the last place our rap/breakdance group performed before we split up to become Much Finesse.
    Creating the list of honorees was very hard, since we don't know where most of these individuals are. We would need your help if you are in contact with any of them. Our list includes the original fashion models, designers, the first board of directors, community leaders, our studio engineer, teachers, etc. The official list will be published on the NSP website this weekend, so if you are familiar with any of these names, please contact them as let them know that we are thinking about them. An official invite (if you are on the list) will be sent in September.
    Understand that I can't do this alone, and I need all assistance that I can get. There are approximately 36 current members of NSP and they will perform as part of the anniversary. 17 of these kids just joined within the last 8 weeks, so planning the performance will be just as hard. Majority of them will model in a fashion show with guest designers. Others will make presentations, sing, dance, etc.
    All I ask is...
    a. if you are an honoree, please mark November 1st on your calendar. We would be honored if you can attend.
    b. if you would like to assist with planning the event, I'd appreciate the help.
    c. if you know of anyone in the news media, local or community, we would like for them to attend
    d. if you know of anyone who may want to contribute a financial donation to the youth, and the work we do, we will accept donations for this event. As of now, the kids need to raise a minimum of $2300.00 for the event.
    e. if you would like to share your story with our youth about your involvement in NSP, please email it to me, and we will use it in our program and/or journal if we have enough to print one.
    
    NSP needs your help to make our anniversary a success! I thank you in advance, and look forward to seeing you on the 1st (if you can make it!)
