During the 1980s, I had stopped playing music. One day I found a David Allan Coe album called "Tattoo" in a music store and listening to those songs got me motivated to get back to music. Later on, during the 90s, I wrote this song aboyt David. Love his music to this day.
This is a french song about a friend of mine back in the 60s. He was such a great guy when sober but a total mess when he was drunk which was way too often.
This is a song that I wrote the night before a recording session in 1989 and it bacame the first single release from that session. It made Top 20 on the RPM Canadian Weekly Country Chart Summer 1989.
