This song is really about acheiving your personal American dream, whatever that may be. The message I am trying to get across is this: don't ever let anyone's negativity get between you and your dream. You can do anything if you put your mind to it, as long as you stay positive.

I met this man a couple years ago. He said some very wise words to me that have continued to inspire the way I live my life to this day. He said, "Work hard, dream big, and you'll go far. That's how I got my idea for the song.:)

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I wrote "Reach" just for YOU ...a person with big dreams that someday would like for them to become their reality. Many of us are trapped in jobs that we hate, unhappy with our lives, and just living day-to-day, all because we've given up on our dreams. Through this song and video, I hope to inspire you to hold on to your dreams and not let the curve balls that life pitches, strike you out (a little cheesy, but you get the idea).

The themes of this contest made me want to be a participant?living
your dream, daring, hoping, and reaching higher. We all need some
inspiration in our lives, whether it's getting through a tough day, or
trying to achieve your goals. I am so blessed to have people around
me that always encourage me to strive for my dreams, even when I get
weary and discouraged at times. I wanted to write words of inspiration
that could help uplift someone else if they ever started feeling the
way I have felt at times. I think we all have the ability to keep
going and achieve our best, and it's important for us as people to
boost and support each other. If this song and video can do that,
then I have done my job. I am truly grateful for this opportunity.
