Rewerts, first, thanks for the support. As a player you always want to be the one out there, especially at my position. This year will be huge for me to get acclimated and if the time comes where they need me, I plan to be ready. Secondly, I plan on writing the blog sometime this weekend for Michigan State. I am really excited about the future of MSU and will describe my thoughts on the season and the first two ballgames.

Drew, just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was being at MSU while you led our team (despite the unforunate 5 losses in a row to Michigan while I was there.) You showed true class and leadership on and off the field, and I never hesitate to tell Lions fans what a great player we got on draft day last year. Your blog is a real gem for someone who spends hours and hours every week reading about the Lions, and you should know how much the fans appreciate you taking the time to let us in on the real NFL. Best of luck, man- even the damn Wolverines fans are pulling for you now!

oh and also, you are better than brady quinn and will always be better than brady quinn :). and you were the best quarterback in the nation with michigan state. you just had absolutely no defense. and you were overlooked by people like brady quinn becuase of his amazing receivers. i mean honestly, put you on notre dame (id shot myself but as an example) and you would have done GREAT. heisman for sure.
