First off, I must say I think this is a great site! Unfortunately I havent been able to become as active a member as I would like because of other time constraints but maybe one day! So a little about me: I am the Managing Director of Dhoonya Dance School and Performance Company (www.dhoonyadance.com) and, at this time, teach and dance full time! Its a great life but very busy.

My ultimate dream has always been to go to Bollywood...what I love about it as that its not JUST dancing...its playing a character, getting into a role. Expressions are my favorite part of Bollywood dancing. I get a little sad knowing that as the dance becomes more "modernized" people focus more on JUST the movement and the "acting" gets lost. If it were up to me we'd be able to keep both alive!

I truly appreciate the kind words I have received thus far and know that even if I dont win this competition that I have so much support to try other means of getting to Bollywood. I'm afraid I just haven't been able to show my FULL versatility through this video but I will try to do so soon. Maybe some of the pics I've uploaded will show that a) I'm not a prude (ha!), b) I can be both hot/sexy and traditional, and c) that i simply LOVE dance.
