I chose the name phoenix because I love the way these birds are supposed to come out of the fire and basicly start over.  My disability issues are that I've been blind since I was a baby.  I've added diabetes, arthritis and fibromyalgia to the mess

Other stuff.  I'm a single mom of seven and grandmother of one.  I love lots of different kinds of music, plants, books, cooking and plants.  I'm still a bit of a novice on my computer, but it's fascinating.  I'm home schooling my three teens and my older four kids are employed and/or iin college.  We've lived in several states, but seem to have settled in Texas for now.  It's great living here unless it's too hot and the air conditioning is on the fritz.
