Inspired by christian artists from our own childhood and a desire to separate ourselves from modern music trends we've arrived at an energy driven blend of our childhood favorites, with serious classic rock influences, mixing at times with a laid back surf-rock vibe. While bouncing ideas off of each other after dismantling their previous band, frontman - Tyler Melashenko and bassist - Joel Sellers began to conceptualize what would become Stereo Jesus. Derivative of Tyler's observations on the modern-day over commercialization of Christianity, the name unknowingly stood out as both an attention grabber and as a lighthearted take on those initial observations. Hailing from North Carolina the band has chosen Texas as home base for both it's hospitality and musical community. We are essentially 4 personalities driven by our creativity, our love of music, and our love for God. Desiring to make a change in how todays youth are taught to view and live out their faith.
