Answers to many "How To" questions

Click "Log In" on the main page near the top then "Log in" to your account

using the "user name and password" you created when you filled out the membership form.

If you forgot your "user name and password" no problem, simply click "Log In" on the main page and on the page that comes up click on "Retrieve Username and Password". There you will be asked for your email address. Fill that in and click the "Retrieve Password" button and it will quickly be sent to your email.

6. How do I KNOW I am logged into the site?

After logging in, you will see under the main command bars, "Welcome, and your User ID" followed by "Sign Out".

Note: You will remain logged in UNLESS you choose "Sign Out". This is a fairly new feature added by KickApps.

7. How do I add photos, videos and music?

After logging in to the site, you will be automatically taken to the "My Home" screen. If not, choose "My Home" in the command bar under the site Title.

The "My Home" page is basically your Control Panel and there you can do any number of things as you will see by looking at the page. You can add a video, a photo, an audio track, or a blog post.

You can check your messages or send a message.

You can see any new comments that have been added to your page or your songs and videos since the last time you logged in.

You can see if any new replies have been left on your Forum discussions if you have any currently going. Each of these links will take you to the coinciding page that will have you fill in what you wish to do at that point. Try clicking on these and see what comes up. You will see it is really easy once you try it a bit.

And at the top, below the site Command bar you will see an additional command bar that is actually a "mini" command bar for your "My Home" page that has "view profile" "edit my profile" "my messages" "my media" "my friends" and "invite friends". These are there to help you do various things to make your page the home you want it to be.

8. What to do first

The best thing to do after joining is to "Edit My Profile" located at the top under the main Command bar.

When you click that, it will take you to the Profile section and there you will see options and areas to fill out. This is where you tell US about YOU and add photos and key words. You will also see several Tabs that you can add other information such as web links for some of your favorite websites.

There is a "Getting Started tab" located on the right side of the "Edit My Profile" page. It's in the blue tabs previously talked about on the far right side! Click that and you will see even more ways to enhance your page and your experience here!

9. Notes about "UNLIMITED" uploads.

The site does offer UNLIMITED uploads of music, videos and pictures. That MEANS what is says, you can upload ALL of these you wish! BUT there are limits on the SIZE of those uploads. The maximum size of ANY file uploaded to the site can be no larger than 100 MB! Now, that's a pretty friendly size limitation.
