Hi
Well it is Sunday morning and i am sitting in my Dressing gown at 10.45, thats interestin
We did are first Saturday craft show in taunton yesterday,
and it gives me my first Sunday off for weeks and weeks, and now i do not know what to do with myself.
I could do cleaning, don't fancy that.
i could do food shopping but weather is horrible and anyway don't fancy that.
must do washing but that can wait and hour or so.
Think i might watch and old black and white film, eating a large box of chocs, well that is if i can kick Graham off the Sofa first.
Anyway i will check this out from time to time today so if there is any like minded people out that lost at what to do.get back to me.
Tracey
Emerald are you up yet?
Hi Tracey,
I was at the show yesterday, what great weather weren't we lucky. Hope you are enjoying your box of chocs and film. (well earnt)
I enjoyed the show as usual, bought quite a few embossing folders (I have the old Sizzix and only just discovered I can use them). It was quite strange to go on a Saturday instead of Sunday but as I am working today it was good for me anyway.
I didn't enjoy the venue as much as Wellington, the loos were disgusting ! Wellington's were a luxury !!! but, as the cost of going to the show is so reasonable I understand keeping the cost down is a priority and the parking was a little better. (although I did miss the bags!).
I have to congratulate you on the victoria sponge it was a masterpiece and my OH was delighted, he is looking forward to more in May.
Take care (wish I was at home playing with my purchases instead of here)
Hi
Well i did the shopping, and the cleaning and the washing.
Graham got in front of the TV before me and watched the Moter racing.
Anyway i will get my own back with the Xfacter tonght.
Back to the show, we are taking on board all the comments, we did not have good feed back about the venue in wellington
I must admit i did not keep a check on on loos i normally do so i will check this for next time.
We have not also secured another room next to the main hall where the exhibters were so there will be more space next year.
We were very pleased with the catering we have never had are own kitchen so next year we will take full advantage of that offering more hot food.
But the cakes will stay!!
Anyway thanks for your comments we are always on the look out for venues so if you know of any lets us know.
Kind regards
Tracey
