Wrecking the TreeWrecking the tree
Don’t bash the baubles, Rita, If you claw them they will snag, And that’s a plastic robin It’s really not a punchbag! Please don’t climb the branches – It’s not that kind of tree Watch, you’ll tip it over – Oh, can’t you let it be? Don’t bite the fairy, Rita – She’s done nothing to you. Damn, there go her wings – Now where’d I put that glue? I see you like the tinsel – It makes a rustling noise Don’t open the parcels, Rita The kids will see their toys! Give me back my star I need to put it on. There, it’s looking lovely now But where’s my tinsel gone? Rita, will you please keep still And I’ll unravel you, How’d you get so wound up In tinsel? Silly moo! It seems that this destruction Has made you really shattered. That’s it, you have a nice little rest – MY CHRISTMAS TREE’S IN TATTERS!!!
