The Titans are a good team but I think we beat ourselves. We just weren’t focused coming in, we were riding high with a five-game winning streak and the game wasn’t what we thought it would be.

We had too many turnovers, we didn’t get any turnovers, we didn’t get to the quarterback enough and didn’t do the things we normally do. That was the main problem for us. We didn’t play our type of ball. We never got beat like this, even on our worst day, not playing our type of football.

Sure, we want to see the Titans in the playoffs again. But this is a very important time of the year and we’re not looking ahead. You can’t get ahead of yourself in the NFL or we’ve seen what can happen. Any given Sunday…

I think I didn’t really play my role, either. I try to be the type of guy who makes plays. I don’t have much playing time, but the coaches always seem to put me in at crunch time, third and fourth downs, the last 30 seconds of the game when the other team is driving, I’m always on the field. So I have to make big plays, that’s my role and I have to fill it. I didn’t do that last week.

We’ve clinched our spot in the playoffs but I think we should take our last game against Cleveland seriously. Try to get some momentum. The worst thing we could do would be to take them lightly and then they embarrass us in our home. We can’t have that going into the playoffs.

I hope to get some extra playing time, maybe even get on the field for some first or second downs. It’s been a long season, especially for the older guys, and we’ve pretty much been going at it since July.
