Well, today is my last day of employment at Fox 29.  As I have said before, it has been a good run.

I am thankful for both the job and for your support over these last four years.

I have more information that I want to share, but I will wait for a more appropriate time.

Now for the weather...

Yesterday's high of 59 degrees was the coldest day in Philly since May 5th.

With a warm front approaching Baltimore today, more clouds and drizzle will be moving back in (perhaps, even a brief shower).

The East-Southeast wind, however, should keep us in the 60s this afternoon.

Note to self:  Never trust a warm front, especially when it's attached to an occluding low in the Western Great Lakes. 

Today will be breezy with gusts 25 to 30 mph by the afternoon.

The weekend will feature pop-up storms on Saturday with more humidity (dew points in the lower to mid 60s).  Some hazy sun will be seen as well.

The chance of severe thunderstorms will be possible, especially where bright sunshine develops on Saturday.  But it will not rain all day.

After some early morning fog on Sunday, look for bright sun Sunday morning, but scattered clouds moving in from the Great Lakes Sunday afternoon.

Highs on Sunday will be near 73 degrees.

TODAY:  Mostly Cloudy, Breezy, Drizzle, Shower Possible (20 percent chance).

Highs:  63 to 67 degrees from suburb to city.

Winds:  E to SE 5-15 mph, Gusts 25-30 mph

TONIGHT:  More Clouds, Few Showers.  (60 percent chance)

Lows:  54 to 61 degrees from suburb to city.

Winds:  SE to S 5-15 mph, Gusts to 20 mph.

SATURDAY:  Pop-Up T-Storms, Humid. (80 percent chance)

High:  near 75 degrees

SUNDAY:  Early Fog, Plenty of Sun.

High:  near 73 degrees
