I have more information that I want to share, but I will wait for a more appropriate time.  After all, my last day of employment at Fox 29 is not until Friday, October 2nd.

Now for the weather...

A weak ridge of high pressure will try to nose into Southeast Virginia today, allowing for more sunshine.  However, since Lake Erie and Lake Ontario are a bit irritated by the cold air aloft (the lake water temperature is in the mid-60s), look for more lake clouds to form here in the Tri-State.  A mix of sun and clouds is what I expect for today.

Cooler-than-average temperatures will last for 1 more day.   With a warm front approaching on Friday, more clouds and drizzle will be moving back in (perhaps, even a brief shower).

Winds on Friday will be breezy, gusting to around 30 mph by the afternoon.

The weekend will feature pop-up storms on Saturday with more humidity (dew points in the mid to upper 60s).  Some hazy sun will be seen as well.

After some early morning fog on Sunday, look for mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s.

SATURDAY:  Pop-Up T-Storms, Humid. (80 percent chance)

High:  near 75 degrees
