Please join us for children's story hours at Tuzzy Library! Storytime is a great way to prepare your kids for school, meet new friends, and introduce your kids to valuable pre-reading skills. Many parents worry that their kids will not sit still or pay attention. Please don't let that keep you away! Sitting still for stories and following along with the group are skills that take practice. Kids that have a hard time adjusting during the first few weeks soon grow to love this special time of interaction between themselves, their parents, and their new friends.
Beyond just reading books together, storytime incorporates songs, rhymes, and games that are specifically designed to develop such pre-reading skills as increased vocabulary, phonological awareness, and narrative skills. Please join us we venture into the wonderful world of books and reading together!
Preschool Storytime (Ages 2 to 5): Every Saturday at 10am
Baby Storytime (Ages 0 to 2): Every Saturday at 11am
