So This Is All New To Me

Ok, so this is all new to me. I have fibromyalgia. OK. At least I have a name to describe the excruciating and dibilitating pain I have been suffering from. Now what? I have an appointment with my primary doctor next week, but frankly, I am unsure of what he will be able to do for me. I live in a rural community. I would really like some advice from some of you that have been there. What can I do? No over the counter pain meds work, and so far, tramadol and percocet are the only things that have actually given me any relief. I dont sleep very much, as I am sure most of you living with this know. I have been encouraged to try to get on disability, but I know that its not gonna be easy. Give me some pointers. I would really appreciate it.
