First, The Forecast:
Once again, we're having trouble getting rid of the clouds, thanks to
persistent low-level moisture. At least it's Friday! And it's the last Friday in
October. Mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the day. Peeks of sunshine take
us into the lower sixties this afternoon.
The early call on Halloween (which is also the first home game of the Series):
Cloudy skies, and a high temperature of 73-degrees. The concern comes in
the evening hours. That's when the showers are set to begin.
Super Big Sunday!!
Eagles vs. Giants at 1:00 pm at the Linc: A stray shower...clouds giving way to sun, temp: 56.
Phillies vs. Yankees at 8:00 pm: Dry and very chilly, temps falling through the 40s.
Monday:
Phillies vs. Yankees at 8:00 pm: Cool and dry, again in the forties.
Memory Walk:
Join FOX 29 and the Alzheimer's Association as we battle against this terrible disease.
We’ve been teaming up on this effort for almost a decade now, and we still need your
help.
Did you know that Philadelphia is the metropolitan area with the highest
concentration of older persons in the United States?
This means that, by the year 2050, our area could have more than 550,000 people
with Alzheimer's disease!
The Alzheimer's Association provides funds for vital programs and services.
The annual Memory Walks raise awareness of this imminent epidemic and funds
to assist those afflicted, and their caregivers, in the Delaware Valley.
There are two more Memory Walks scheduled, and the FOX 29 Team will be out there
with you. Join us on:
November 15th at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia
I plan to be there, too. Here’s where you can register.
Hope to see you our remaining Memory Walk!
