  • Re - the fox bit. Yes I agree with Jenny that they are so beautiful & at night sneaking around, their eyes are so wide & like deep black pools, but a close encounter is another thing.

    I was dressed up for a late fancy dress party once as a very multi coloured 'Hippie' & standing at a phone box, a fox terrified me when it came up close sniffing around me. I think it thought for a moment that I was a big meal of a chicken!!!!!! I did not get eaten though!

    I agree foxes are very beautiful.

    Squirrels are also fascinating. My daughter and I were watching one yesterday while waiting in the car.

    The squirrel sat on a picnic table, devoured a nut (very hungrily) and happily went on to enjoy quite a few more. He didn't seem to mind being watched. In fact he almost looked like he was smiling!
