After my last blog, I got the feeling that people took it the wrong way, that I thought Coach Marinelli was a bad coach. That’s not what I was saying at all.
I want to clear the air about that.
Coach Marinelli is a great coach. I would never in any shape form or fashion try to come at him and say he’s not a great coach. He definitely knows what he’s talking about and he’s coached Pro Bowlers and Hall of Famers.
He drafted me, he’s the one who gave me the opportunity to be where I am so why wouldn’t I be happy about him?
What I said was that Coach Karm shows us why we do things a certain way instead of just telling us to do it. I was just saying that in general, there have been coaches who tell you to do things and don’t necessarily tell you why it works. I wasn’t taking shots at Coach Marinelli or Coach Cullen or my college coaches. That’s just how some coaches do it.
I’m just being honest, and I don’t want people to take what I said the wrong way.
