I hurt my hamstring in the first quarter of the first game of the season.
Basically I jumped in the air, and when I came back down my heel got caught and a guard or someone pushed me down quick and I felt something pop. I got it wrapped and played the rest of the game.
I’m kind of surprised because it was just a little pop, I didn’t think it would keep me out of any games. I just have to try to bounce back but I’m not sure how long it’s going to take.
It’s the first time in my career I’ve had to sit out with an injury, so it’s hard to cope with right now. It’s tough not knowing how long I’ll be out. I really just have to let it heal and judge by how I feel day to day.
It’s been frustrating all around, we’re not winning and I can’t even be out there contributing. It just basically sucks for a competitor like myself.
I can’t even practice right now, I’m on the sidelines taking mental reps for when I do get back on the field.
I’m just trying to get healthy so I can get back out there and get me some sacks.
