Description:

This summer Dave and Nicole Palmieri are participating in Minnesota's first ever Blue Community Makeover(TM). In addition to installing raingardens, they will have CAC Tier One install a 1,000 gallon RainXchange system at their south Minneapolis home. This is part of a 100+ project effort being managed by Hedberg Landscape & Masonry Supplies in partnership with Friends of Diamond Lake, Hale Page Diamond Lake and the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District to improve water quality in Diamond Lake, which is currently rated "F" due to storm water runoff contaminants. The Palmieri's, along with 41 of their neighbors, a local church and Minneapolis park are installing combinations of rain barrels, raingardens, permeable pavers, RainXchange systems and trees to help Diamond Lake "Go Blue!"
