Hello Friends! I came up with a brilliant idea to the soaring food prices. I am a vegetarian. So I don't have to worry about the price of meat, poultry, fish, possum (LOL!) For those of you that partake in the more gamey critters! I went out to my backyard and dug for four hours tearing up grass to plant a vegetable garden. People are going to have to do without food since the gas prices keep going up. Not me as I like to eat! All 125 pounds of me! So anyway, I went out and dug up a sizeable area for the veggie garden. I can work a shovel on a good day. Boy do I hurt like *ell today! I haven't dropped the seeds yet as I had to recover today with the fibromyalgia, the neck and back injuries, hairline fracture in the sternum from the car wreck. Tomorrow, I will get up and plant the following: carrots, corn, brussel sprouts, yellow squash, spinach, basil. mesklin lettuce, okra, cucumbers, green beans, and basil. I had a beautiful tomato plant that I planted and was watching it grow and have blossoms. The landscaping guys mowed it over two days ago. I cried as I grew very attached to my little plant. So I will get two more next time I journey to Wally World and those beauties will go with the other seedlings. It was hard work but it will pay off. Happy gardening to me!! heehee! lol!
