:)

I have delayed posting for a while because there is not much to say.  Life can be so confusing.  I graduated last month and I long to get started on a career with my furry friends but there are so many options.  I love reining but I don't want to stop there.  I want to learn everything I can but where do I start?  Where do I go?  If any of you have any advice I live in Texas and would appreciate It very much.   Thanks:)

  • Hi Sonja,

Here are the names of the colleges I found with equine programs in Texas. They were near the areas we were looking to move to.

Weatherford College (www.wc.edu) and Trinity Community College. When you go to the Trinity website click on future student, then go to academic programs, and lastly to workforce...

Hope that is helpful. I can't wait to hear what you decide.

  • Congratulations!

What about Texas A&M? They have an equestrian program. I saw some of their facilities on the Greenville campus, when we were picking up my friends daughter who was attending there. I also found a couple community colleges with horse programs out your way. I was looking several years ago, because I thought my husban and I were going to move out there. I will have to look up what I found and get back to you later. They are saved in my favorites in my MSN account which I am not on right now.
