    • Vince sang "Unchained Melody" and the crowd loved it. His amazing performance earned him the 2008 Columbia County Idol title, an encore performance at Relay for Life on Saturday plus $100 and 4 hours studio time from Bartholomew Productions. Congratulations, Vince!

    • CC Idol Finals Patrick Russell

    • Patrick sang an original song and played the guitar. This is Patrick's second performance of an original work giving us a glimpse into his personal life. The judges and the crowd loved his strong performance. Patrick has a termendous road ahead as a musician and writer.

    • CC Idol Finals Miriah January

    • Miriah sang "Beautiful", a very tough song that showed of the strength fo her incredible voice and maturity beyond her 10 years. She worked the stage and the audience... When Miriah is older... say 12 or 13... she could be a Columbia County Idol!

    • CC Idol Finals Arielle Sullivan

    • Arielle sang "She May Be Weary" originally done by Three Dog Night. Her bluesy rendition was teriffic and worthy of her being runner-up in the 2008 Columbia County Idol competition. Great voice, great arrangement, strong performance.

    • CC Idol Finals Beau Mason

    • Beau Mason sings another Journey song, "Don't Stop Believing". And the crowd loves it. Beau also performed inthe Columbia County Fair Talent Show last week. Check Beau's performance out.

    • CC Idol Finals Jess Davee

    • Jess Davee sings the Temptations' "Aint Too Proud To Beg"... acapella. Another great performance from Jess.

    • The "Unjudgeables"

    • Kicking off the CC Idol Finals night competition, the "Unjudgeables" sang Seven Rivers by the Eagles. Singing were Susie Wilson, Jackie Roberts, Jeff Curry, Stewart Rigall, and Ronda and Dave Holdridge. Thanks to all the volunteers who put in long hours to make the Columbia County Idol such an amazing success raising over $2,000 for Relay for Life and giving the contestants an amazing opportunity to showcase their talents.

    • Columbia County Idol week 5 competiton on 7/10/08. Miriah is a 5th grader from Lewis & Clark. Wha tan amazing voice, such poise and a great performance. This week's Idol winner on the stage and she also raised the most money for Relay for Life!

  • Just a quick note of thanks to the wonderful folks here at CR Highway! Your support of our Columbia County Idol competition has been outstanding! This has been such a great experience for all of the contestants and especially for those of us involved with keeping the show running along. I can't wait to see all of the amazing talent at the finals on the 24th! Then we're off to St. Helens High School for the Relay for Life event on Saturday starting at 10:00. A special thanks to all of those who have contributed to the cause in EVERY way - money and time. This has been incredible! Jeff

  • tonight's show was great!! the band was so entertaining...and contestants were really good. I left right after the last singer, and didn't find out who won till i checked out the website. I thought the winner and runner-up earned their positions to the finals!! great job MC-ing Jeff..you ROCK!
